Adobe System Requirements

Adobe Creative cloud programs each possess different system requirements.  Below is a list of minimum requirements to run Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, After Effects and Premiere for Windows OS and Mac OS each.


Windows OS requirements:


Processor speed: 2 GHz (64 bit support)


OS: Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 (version 1607 or later)


RAM: 16 GB


Hard disk space:8 GB (10GB additional disk space for disk cache) additional free space for updates


Display: 1280x1080 with 16 bit color


VRAM: 512 MB 


Graphics Card: openGl 4.x capable system, sound card compatible with ASIO protocol or Microsoft Windows Driver Model, : Adobe-certified GPU card for GPU-accelerated ray-traced 3D renderer




Mac OS requirements:


Processor speed: multicore intel processor with 64 bit support


OS: macOS version 10.13 (High Sierra), macOS version 10.12 (Sierra), or Mac OS X version 10.11 (El Capitan)


RAM:16 GB 


Hard disk space: 8 GB


Display:1440x900


VRAM:2 GB


Graphics Card:openGl 4.0 capable system, quicktime 10.x software, sound card compatible with apple core audio, : Adobe-certified GPU card for GPU-accelerated ray-traced 3D renderer
